Noticeboard

Flu Vaccination clinics have been running since September.

We have offered vaccinations to all patients aged 65 years and over and have been pleased with the response to our invitations. There are still quite a number of patients who have not yet advised us if they do want the vaccination or not this year. Letting us know makes it far easier for us to know how much additional vaccine we need to source.

We are still booking clinics for all patients aged under 65 years with Chronic Conditions who are considered at risk. Pregnant women and children aged 2 - 3 years. There are several flu vaccines available and patients will be booked for the one that is most effective for their age.

Our last delivery of vaccine for the Under 65 year age group has arrived today and appointments are still available. We would encourage anyone who hasn't yet responded to an invitation, or thinks they are entitled to a vaccination but hasn't received an invitation to contact us as soon as possible.

For those that have received a text invitation who do not wish to be vaccinated this year it is possible to reply to the text message with the word 'decline' and this will opt you out of any further invitations and makes it easier for us to plan clinics.

Caring for someone can be a full-time job, but it's essential that you take time out for yourself too. Read our guide to accessing breaks and respite.
